  1. Good morning, I downloaded this template on a Mac and the top and bottom margins are not as they should be. How do I correct this so that it remains the same throughout the book? Or can you recommend any other templates for Mac that I might prefer?
    Thank you!

    • Hi, margins are set in the template for it to print correctly on paper. However, if you still want to change the margins then you can do it through the Page Setup in Microsoft Word. Moreover, our templates are compatible with Mac version of Ms Word as well. I don’t know what paper size you want your book to be printed in, I would better suggest a template if I know your print requirements beforehand, thank you.

  2. I downloaded this template. When I try to save it as a pdf file. The following message popped up. I cannot figure it why. Thank you for your help in advance.
The paper size of sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… are different from the printer paper size. The paper size options you select on the Page Layout tab and the Printers dialog box (in the Control Panel) must match. Do you want to continue printing?

    • Thanks for downloading the template! This template has a custom paper size of 5.25 x 8 inches. Your PDF printer was not recognizing this custom paper size that’s why you were receiving that message! A simple fix is to first create a custom form (i.e., paper size) of 5.25 x 8 from “Print Management” in Control Panel. Then print the template into PDF, it should work then. If you don’t know how to create custom paper forms in Windows then please google about it!

Another workaround is to directly convert the template into PDF through Microsoft Word’s “Save As PDF” option. In Ms Word, go to File > Save As > Select PDF from “Save as type:” and then save the PDF. Hope it helps, thank you.

  3. Hi Mohammed,
First, thank you for the templates. I absolutely think they are beautiful and I am grateful to have them. In my current work, the first few pages appear larger than the rest of the pages. I’m unsure what to do to fix this, and I”m not sure if it will cause a problem when I go to upload the manuscript to Amazon KDP. The template says it is a UTT 5.25×8. This is the finished size I wanted for my small book. Can you help or direct me to another template that will work best? This is a small book, about 130 pages, so if I go any higher, it’s going to be difficult to have a printable spine on the book cover, etc. Thank you so much Muhammed!

    • Hi Lily,
Thank you for liking our templates! Firstly, all of your book’s pages should be of same size as the final trim size of a single book can’t be printed in different page sizes (unless you have some special arrangement from your printer). If you’re using our template then you can simply copy/paste content from your existing file into our template, this will fix your different page size issue. However, when you copy your text then please make sure you use the destination formatting (i.e., use styles available in our template). 5.25×8 paper book would be perfect for a 130-page book. Let me please know in case of any other question you may have, thank you.
